Your Own Christmas Photo Cards

My Christmas Tree and Fireplace!

“It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas….”  No surprise that I have that song in my head; I have the Christmas tree up, the fireplace going, and I have a batch of cookies baking in the oven!  Next two things on my list, wrapping gifts and writing Christmas cards!

This year I was thinking of personalizing my cards instead of the traditional Personalized Christmas Cardstore bought ones.  I found a site online that I like, Christmas Cards Direct.  You take a digital photo or choose one of your favorites, which can be from your vacation in the summertime, to more recent shots now that winter is almost upon us.  Then you have two options.  One is to pick a frame for your digital photograph, and then upload the picture you want; Christmas Cards Direct will print your photo on whichever design you choose!  It’s as simple as that!

The second way of getting your Photo Christmas Cards is to choose the photo A Frostie the Snowman Cardholder you want to put your picture in, then place a personalized order.  When you receive them, all you’ll have to do is attach your photo or photos in the easy to use holder cards to secure it in place.  There are hundreds of cards to choose from for all occasions!

The cards are very reasonably priced and you can select from a variety of greetings or be more creative in writing one of your own!  Think how everyone will know it’s from you, especially if you have a unique way of expressing yourself!  (Hmm!)  You can choose the color of ink and the style of envelope and they even print your return address.

Personalized Christmas CardThe thing I found most helpful is the section that gives you tips & advice on how to take a great picture!  Perfect for me since a photographer, I am not!  They explain ways of taking family and group photos, how to photograph your Christmas tree, how to take children in the photo, making your Christmas card more unique, and photographing winter scenes, to name just a few of the many helpful hints on their site.

Maya Muses:  Patrick and I send our cards in two bunches; to family and friends in the States, Mexico, and Spain we send the cards before Christmas.  To family and friends in France and other European countries, we send out our New Year’s Greetings in January!

    Try onepennypost.com

They give you a free card to try the service out. You upload your photo and create your card, and they print them professionally and send them off for you. Just send the first one to yourself so you know what you’re getting.

    Wow….
I have not done anything yet!

    No Christmas feeling whatsoever here!

I have been in bed for 5 days now, with high fever, the flu hit me hard this time, but it has been a long time since I had it…..

So the “dust-rats” are dancing on the floors,
I can write” Merry Christmas” in the dust on the top of the bookshelves….
And Christmas cards…guess I send New Year’s Greetings, this year too!

Is that you place? It looks very nice….
Think I celebrate Christmas at your place instead!LOL

    It all sound so wonderful…Wrapping gifts,the smell of cookies,a Christmas tree,a fireplace…
    And those socks hanging there….

I wish I was there…instead of sitting here, coughing, feverish and with a nose that is beginning to get red!

Gosh…I sound terrible….I only have the flu!

Think I will take a small glass of Whisky…for medical reasons and go to bed with a good book!

No,Oslo for me…It would have been fun,but I will watch the Nobel Peace Price concert on the TV, sitting in our coach….

We had tickets to it…and Ulf likes Sir M.Caine…
    I do too,and 4 singing guys,hehe….

I’m sorry to hear that you’re still sick and that you won’t be going to the Nobel Peace Prize concert! I’m sure you would have loved it! Will you give your tickets away, or sell them? I hope it’s not the concert where you were suppose to have a cocktail and have your photo taken with the guys, is it?!!!

Yes, it’s a photo of our place with all the Christmas decorations…..I put up little stockings because the best gifts come in small packages!!! LOL! Not really, I’m afraid our big stockings are going to singe or burn so I bought little ones! I like to put in small gift cards and lottery tickets and things like that in them! I’ll take more photos…. the only thing missing is the snow! Perhaps one day we’ll get together around the holiday season….here, there, in Paris, or in Sweden; I’m sure in Scandinavia the holidays must be wonderful as well! (When I lived in Copenhagen, I left before Christmas, and when I was in Sweden and Norway, it was in the summertime.)

    I am feeling a bit better…

So maybe I will go to Stockholm instead on Friday…If this is destined to happen it will!

We are trying to sell the tickets or give them away….
Yes, I think we would have loved it! And no it is not, that happens on their own concerts..

I do hope we will celebrate Christmas together someday….I think it would be wonderful!

It depends on where you are….our country is so long…
Up in north it is cold and snow, here on the coast it is no snow,so it is really dark outside…
To see all the light decorations in windows and on balconies are wonderful…
