We were planning an oyster roast back in October while the weather was still beautiful, but Mother Nature decided otherwise! The sun had been shining the entire week and the weather was in the 70°’s F. (20°’s C.), but come Saturday it poured the entire day and the party was cancelled! Of course, the following day, Sunday, the sun was out once again and the weather was perfect.
Well this weekend the roast was back on and this time the weather cooperated, and although no one was about to jump into the swimming pool that’s for sure, it was warm enough for it to be enjoyable. The guys playing music were great as usual, with just the right mix of jazz, blues and blue grass to add to the afternoon-evening fun.
Maya Muses: At one point I felt like I was back in Ireland when the band played an Irish tune and there was a slight chill in the air and I started to dance a jig! I’m glad Patrick was too busy eating oysters to snap a photo at that moment!

Yes it was great! ….Patrick couldn’t stop eating oysters! I prefer eating raw oysters. I forgot that Ulf is a swimmer! He must have enjoyed watching Michael Phelps during the Olympic Games.
The weather has been really warm here! 75° F (25° C.) today and tomorrow 77° F (26° C). Great for walking on the beach…..not so good for getting into the Christmas spirit! I love a white Christmas, it takes me back to my childhood, but no such luck in sight for that happening here!
