It’s All Maya!

If Life is an illusion, then why do I keep banging my head against the wall?

Si la Vie est une illusion, pourquoi je n'arrête pas de me taper la tête sur les murs?

Why you need a small car in Paris!

Why you need a small car in Paris

I’ve been neglecting my blog lately, but we’ve been so busy, there just hasn’t been any time to write a post.  Ironically it’s not that I haven’t been writing, I have.  As a matter of fact, I have never written so much in my life, but not here.

Luxembourg Gardens

The days have been simply gorgeous.  It’s my favorite time of year in Paris when the weather is perfect!  Seeing friends and getting together to just sit at a café, or the Luxembourg Gardens to chat is wonderful.

I went out to do the grocery shopping last evening and walking down the street looking at the Arc of Truimph in the distance made me happy.  The Monoprix I went to is one I have gone to for more than twenty-five years and it reminded me of the years I have spent in this beautiful city and it was a feeling of coming home.

Patrick and Alexis

Patrick didn’t think he would be happy here, but he is.  He likes being back in France, being close to his family once again and getting back into French cooking!

Yes I am very happy to be back in France and to cook again for Parisian, not an easy task. They really know what good food is. It is a great compliment that they like my “cuisine” so much.

I love French food! If I’m ever in Paris I’ll be sure to go to your restaurant if it’s not outrageously expensive. No harm in dreaming, right!

People love your cooking anywhere you go Patrick, it doesn’t matter which country you’re in!

Deena, his restaurant is not expensive, pretty much the average here in France. The menu is 25 euros for the 1st and 2nd course plus dessert. Don’t dream – come on over!

Lunch menu is only 15 Euros
