Why does a blog that has only been in the blogosphere for a few months get millions of visitors coming to its site, and a book deal to boot, while other blogs that have been around for years (and are just as good, if not better), hardly get any traffic at all? If you ask me, it’s all fate, or destiny. This doesn’t just happen on the internet, like it did to Stuff White People Like, it happens in every single aspect of our lives.
Why does one incredible singer, who pursues a career relentlessly, never makes it beyond a gig every weekend in an out of the way dive, while someone with one half the talent becomes a singing superstar?
Why does a dancer, an artist, an actor, a lawyer, a politician, a chef, you name it…..why does one with so much talent not make it, while someone else, with a lot less, does? Destiny my friend, it’s all destiny! You can struggle all you want, but if it’s not meant to be, if it’s not in the cards, it won’t matter how hard you try! If it is meant to be, then it will.
Okay don’t bust my eardrums with all your rhetoric that after struggling for many years some do make it. Can’t you see that it was meant to be that way? While some were meant to struggle to finally make it, others were meant to have it all handed to them on a silver platter, but we mustn’t forget that there are still those that will struggle until the day they die and no matter how talented they are, it simply won’t happen if it wasn’t meant to be!
Bottom line, everyone goes about their lives striving for their goal, because they’re hoping that they’re one of the lucky ones that has it written that they’re going to make it, and praying that they’re not one of the unlucky ones that says they won’t.
Maya Muses: White people will not like the stuff I wrote here, because white people like to believe that they have free will. I know better, but who am I to burst their bubble!?
