It sort of brings a whole new meaning to the word “mob”. Back in my days when you talked about the mob you were talking about the Mafia. Not anymore!
Last summer I put a flash mob dance on my blog that took place in Antwerp, Belgium. It was one of the better ones that I had seen. Recently I saw one of the biggest flash mob’s and it was all for one person. Yep, you guessed it, it was for Oprah! I know it’s an old video, but….

Another word that comes to mind is gay. Twitter also has a whole new meaning and then so does tweet. I’ll have to think about it, I’m sure there’s plenty more.
I had seen the BEP video, but not the big freeze. They’re great.

Thanks Christa and Pam! I started thinking of other words that have changed their meaning through the years and it’s harder than it seems. Spam and thread came to mind. Apple now has a whole new meaning rather than just a fruit or does that count?
