As Elisabeth Hasselbeck so aptly asked her colleagues today, “Is this Hate Sarah Palin Day?” Which brings me to the question, why do the ladies of The View hate Sarah Palin so much? There’s more to this than meets the eye! After much reflection, (LOL) I’ve come to the conclusion that Barbara, Whoopi, and Joy hate Sarah Palin for various reasons, but hate is the operative word.
Whoopi hates Sarah Palin for the simple reason that she fears Sen. McCain will win the election because of her. Whoopi has become a broken record using the same lame excuses as to why Sarah Palin is a poor choice for being vice-president, namely that Gov. Palin does not have the experience. The same could be said about Sen. Obama.
The only reason why Whoopi is so ferociously fighting for Obama, is because he is a black man. If Obama’s record showed that most of the time he has spent in office has been to better himself instead of his constituents, that wouldn’t bother Whoopi in the least, as long as he’s a black man. If Obama was to keep company with terrorists and take campaign money from them, that wouldn’t bother Whoopi, as long as he’s a black man. If Obama spent twenty years listening to people preach hatred toward America and the white man, that wouldn’t bother Whoopi, as long as he’s a black man.
Whoopi doesn’t give a damn about the issues, her main issue is simply that growing up as a black woman and suffering the consequences, she now wants a black man to win over a white man. It’s as simple as that, and if she were honest with herself, she would admit it! That said,…. there’s no way in hell she’ll admit that to anyone who isn’t black.
No, I’m not spewing hatred here, I’m saying what people think, but won’t say. Whoever says that this is not an election based on race is delusional. The fact that a black man is running for president has brought an outpouring of first time black registered voters. Blacks are fearful that whites will vote for McCain because Obama is black, but do they look at the fact that the majority of blacks will simply vote for Obama, because he is black? What is the difference between these two scenarios? There is none.
As for Barbara and Joy, I’ve come to the conclusion that there’s no logical reason why they hate Sarah Palin so much, except that they hate any woman who is younger and prettier than they are! The problem for Joy and Barbara is that 95% of the population is younger and prettier than they are! Joy today said that she doesn’t want Sarah Palin in office because her main concern is for her country and that she loves her country. What a load of BS that is! Jealousy is an ugly vice and if they would be honest with themselves, they would have to admit it, but, of course, they won’t.
Maya Muses: Gov. Palin, the women of The View want you to go sit with them. Don’t do it! They are not impartial; they are polemicists, and they couldn’t care less about real issues. Barbara is not going to be walking out arm in arm with you, and Whoopi, Joy, and Sherry are not going to be bumping knuckles with you in some ridiculous “new hip high five” type of Michelle Obama greeting!
No, it won’t be like taking a lamb to the slaughter; I know you can hold your own against them, intellectually, politically, and aesthetically. (Who couldn’t?! Even Paris Hilton can!) It’s just that they’re not deign to have you on!

No, I agree, not all crimes against someone of another race is a hate crime. What I don’t understand is why these women hate Sarah Palin so much, that even one of their colleagues has to ask the question!
Just because someone has a different view about things is no reason to hate the other person. If you watch The View, the hatred from these women is almost palpable.
I am an independent, liberal, Pro Choice, anti NRA woman who is the antithesis of Sarah Palin, but that doesn’t make me hate her.
President Clinton said it best, “I think we make a terrible mistake believing that we have to find something wrong with the people we can’t vote for.”

And Hate?A very big word! Never use it much…
Everyone has a different point of view…
And everyone can defend and explain how right their way of seeing the world are and why they judge people the way they do…
Why not try to behave like mature people…
I see people as, well,people….
don’t care much if they are black,brown,yellow or whatever…
don’t care much what religion they have….
young or old,man or woman,king or beggar….
I try to find something we have in common,something we can talk about that makes us see that we are not that different….
I am curious and interested in other way of experience the world.so I am not afraid to approach people…
To learn more and to understand more…
Differences are for me a wonderful thing….It brings flavor to our world…
But we are on a deeper level all coming from the same place….

If only everyone could see life as you do Mia! The world would be a better place! Unfortunately, I am doing another post on Sarah Palin, not because I agree with her views, but because of all the hatred that WOMEN are showing towards her! It’s amazing, but I think it boils down to jealousy! Which is another face of hatred.

And then hopefully learn something….
As I see it we are all mirrors,what we see in another person,good or bad,you also carry inside….But it is so much easier to see it in others…

The good thing is I am aware of it and when I realize this I take them off!
It can be very unpleasant sometimes to see your own ugly face looking back…Lol
But it is wonderful when you see a beautiful loving face looking back at you….and find that it is you!
I prefer the latter!It is so much easier to embrace the nice parts of you. then the not so nice!

I look at myself in a whole size mirror,in the nude every day!
And love what I see,even when I look terrible!
I make ugly faces sometimes and laugh at my self!
So I don’t get too self conscious!lol…

But in my family,we never made nakedness a problem….So I grow up with it!
I see the human body as a piece of art….

Well,if you know that you don’t treat your body as it deserves to be treated,then I think you are not ashamed of your body,but of the way you treat it!

Patrick is like you. I on the other hand grew up in a household where you don’t go around naked! My grandparents from Mexico instilled in my parents that you cover yourself up. Maybe because they had large families and if all of them were running around naked, it would be a nudist colony….so they kept their clothes on!
Honestly, I don’t know why, but I do not feel comfortable in the nude, even when I was younger and my body was in good shape, so you can imagine now at my age! LOL.
