Her words, not mine….well, almost! Tonight Vice-President nominee, Sarah Palin, fought back! Not just confronting her opponents, but also standing up to the bias in the news media! If Sen. John McCain had any reservations about his choice for Vice-President, all that was put to rest with the speech that Gov. Sarah Palin gave this evening. Listening to the governor stand up to all the critisism and attacks on her concerning personal issues and family matters (that have absolutely nothing to do with politics or her ability to run for office) she also turned the table and threw a few powerful punches at her opponents as well!
Sarah Palin tonight showed that she’s a level headed leader, who has made important decisions as Governor of Alaska and made it clear that she’s more than ready to stand up for her rights and the rights of others, but, more importantly, she’s also ready to be the next Vice-President of the United States.
Maya Muses: Who would have thought a week ago that the Republican ticket could be so exciting! No one, I’m sure! My only concern with Gov. Palin is her staunch Pro-Life position and her unwillingness to protect polar bears.
