I heard a wonderful story yesterday! Two young German kids who are in love, Anna-Lena (age 7) and her fiancé, Mika (age 6) wanted to elope and decided to take along Anna-Lena’s younger sister Anna-Bell (age 5) to be their witness! The three children had plans to go to Africa and packed accordingly, with bathing suits, summer clothes, sunglasses, toys and food in tow, but no money or passports! Why Africa? Well, Mika had told the girls about his recent holiday spent in Italy where it was warm and they thought it would be wonderful to spend their honeymoon someplace even warmer….. so Africa it was!
The three children woke up early as their parents slept and walked a kilometre to get to a tram station in Langenhagen. From there they hopped a tram to Hannover central station en route for the airport where their dreams were to be whisked off to sunny Africa! The three children aroused suspicion at the station, not so much because they were travelling alone, but as Mr. Jureczko, the police spokesman said, “What drew our attention was not so much that they were small children, but that they had a lot of swim gear with them.”
When the police confronted the children and asked them where they were going, right away they answered, “Africa!” Mika explained to authorities, “We wanted to take the train to the airport, and then catch a plane, then we would unpack, and get married once we arrived. Then we wanted to go for a little holiday.”
His fiancée Anna-Lena added, “We wanted to get married there and enjoy ourselves.”
When both sets of parents were contacted and went to the station to pick up their children, they were more than surprised and relieved. A spokesperson for the parents said, “They can still put their plan into action at a later date.”

Yeah…
Why do we have to loose the Innocence and Wisdom that we all have as children!
When we See Life as an adventure, that we are here to explore in all its wonder and beauty!
And that Love is Love..if you are 6 or 96,age has nothing to do with Love!
Sometimes I think the children have more to teach us than we adults have to teach them!
Why do we have to learn a lot of “things” when we grow up, that we then have to spend years to unlearn,so we can find our way back to who we were from the beginning?
Those who stay young in their hearts,and who can keep the Innocence within themselves,and not get too damage of the world of illusions,are really blessed!

Mia, children can teach us so much if adults will only take the time to truly listen to them. They’re still so much closer to the “otherside” and as time passes and we get older, unfortunately, we tend to forget where all of us came from and why we are here.
