Okay this didn’t start out as a post about the daughter of the famous artist Pablo Picasso, but just like my Lancel bags, I love my three Paloma Picasso X purses and accessories. Paloma use to be more visable on the fashion scene, but as of late I haven’t paid much attention to what she’s been up to. I know she has her perfumes and she designs a jewelry collection for Tiffany & Co. which, I have to admit, I wasn’t too crazy about except for one piece that caught my eye and I said, “Wow! I want that!” Her Calif 18 K gold ring is simply gorgeous for $2550!
Okay, I’ll stop drooling and now you know why my attention was turned away from the weather for an instant! I was watching the reports on Hurricane Paloma out in the Carribean! Who would have thought that another hurricane (category 4 at the moment) would be looming in November? I know, I know, hurricane season lasts until November 30th each year, but usually after October most people breathe a sigh
of relief.
On the positive side, while some people are under blizzard conditions already, it’s wonderful to be able to walk on the beach in November where sunny temperatures reached 80°F (26°C) yesterday and was a tad cooler today! Patrick and I sipped frozen Margaritas earlier this evening looking out at the ocean while watching tons of people enjoying the mild November weather.
Maya Muses: Just found out that Hurricane Paloma is a category 3 heading back out into the Atlantic! I’ll drink to that!
