First on Thursday evening an Austrian tour bus (some reports say it was a German tour bus) fell into the Seine! Thank goodness no one was in the bus that sunk within a matter of minutes.
Maya Muses: It reminds me somewhat of our boating accident last year. Something I would rather forget!Then Saturday afternoon a couple was sitting at a sidewalk café in the 9th arrondissement at the Place Estienne-d’Orves when two young guys came up to the couple. One guy slit the man’s throat with a broken bottle. Thanks to a retired ambulance worker who witnessed the agression, he was able to control the bleeding until the young man was air-lifted by helicopter that touched down in front of l’Opéra Garnier. Maya Muses: This is not the Paris I know. It use to be safe to sit at 2 o’clock in the morning like 2 in the afternoon. What is this world coming to?Not The Time To Be In Paris!

Strange, because when I open my browser with Firefox, everything looks fine (no empty spaces) and then when I open it with Google Chrome I see the large spaces that you’re talking about. I still can’t figure what’s going on, but thanks for telling me!
