Maya Muses: I thought I would have had time to write at least one post before now, but I’ve been so busy! I have several things I wanted to comment on, like Mine That Bird coming in second at the Preakness. If the race had been just a few lengths longer, or he wasn’t tied up for several precious moments stuck in the middle of the pack and had to go on the outside, I think he would have beat Rachel Alexandra! That said, the hopes for the Triple Crown were dashed once again this year, but the filly Rachel Alexandra beating all those stallions was also great to watch!
