It’s All Maya!

If Life is an illusion, then why do I keep banging my head against the wall?

Si la Vie est une illusion, pourquoi je n'arrête pas de me taper la tête sur les murs?

Life Doesn’t Always Turn Out Like We Expect

Going Nowhere

I guess my title says it all.  Patrick and I were suppose to be in Paris by now and yet we’re still here.  Why?  Well, I won’t go into the gruesome details, but we can’t leave until after I have several medical procedures and this afternoon will be my second with maybe one or two more to go!

Maya Muses:  No, I’m not looking forward to it; talk about painful, it is painful, but if at the end of the road I can be pain free, then it’s all well worth it!

I hope you are feeling OK..

I have been thinking of you lately..
    Take care..
    Hope to see you soon..
I have been so busy so I have not been in here for a long time..
Life is truly presenting us with situations that make us see that right now the best thing is to be flexible and just be present in the moment..
And to let go..you know what I mean?

    A Big Hug to You..

    I’m fine…

Yesterday and this morning I smelled sulfur in the air..
I hadn’t read the newspapers or watched the news..Ulf told me about the eruption on Island..

I sort of sensed it when it happened..but not knowing exactly what it was..
But It makes me realize how vulnerable our “world” are..When Mother Earth react..our system collapses….
And it is not over yet..When will we ever learn?

But I love life..waking up every morning hearing the black-birds singing..again…and the morning sun shining into my bedroom window..simple things..but oh so wonderful..

    Take care…See you soon..

I know! A friend of mine is stuck in Paris , but if you have to be stuck somewhere I guess Paris is a good place to be stuck in! Hopefully when we leave next month, everything will be getting back to normal.

Yeah..it is better to take it as an experience and make the most out of it..

But..hopefully it will be back to “normal” the 27th when I will fly to London..

    But then again..what is “normal”?
We are used that our lives should work in a certain way..But is it “normal”?
    Is it not only habits?

Sometimes it is really good to be shaken up…so we maybe can change them..or really see the true values in life…
I know you know what I mean..

But so many of us just take things for granted..

A friend of mine reminded me of the importance of living in the here and now..

A man she knows has leukemia..he lives on “borrowed” time..he has no intestines..but.. he can still enjoy the taste of food and flavors..
The food or liquids goes right through him into a bag..
    But he celebrates every moment..every flavor…every fragrance..every sound..etc..
She said that she has learned so much about how to really find true delight in the simple things that we take for granted..

Sometimes life “force” us to become aware of the True values in the life we have here and now..

Will go enjoy my breakfast now..

Hope You will enjoy yours too..

    HUGS!
    Mia

Thanks Mia, as always, for your insight. I hope you get to go to London and see Vivien. We have our tickets for Paris; we’re keeping our fingers crossed that there won’t be any more eruptions from the volcano!
