It’s All Maya!

Okay, so Marie-Antoinette didn’t say, “Let them eat cake.” when the people of France were on the verge of starvation and at the eve of a French Revolution, but Nicolas Sarkozy did say if you can’t afford to fill up your gas tank, then “ride a bike!”  With inflation increasing in France, tax blunders costing billions, and gas prices rising, no wonder  President Sarkozy had to give himself a substantial increase in salary, afterall he has a new young wife he needs to keep satisfied!  Hmm, this may be the start of a new French revolution.  

I know how misery loves company, so I thought Americans would love to hear all this, especially the rising price of petrol.  Over 1€50 a litre (around $9.50 a gallon) in France! 

Maya Muses:  $3.50 to $4.00 at the pump doesn’t sound so bad now, does it?  If it does, then maybe you should get a bike!
