It’s All Maya!

We hear more and more that all of us are connected, and, I know, it sounds so cliché, but it’s true!  I was in the shower this morning as I am every morning, thank you very much!  I love taking long hot showers.  I do a sort of meditation/prayer while I’m in there.  Today was no exception.  I usually surround myself and my loved ones with a God-light (sort of like a bubble) for protection and then I thank God for “protecting me, my loved ones, their loved ones, and theirs.”

Today I started thinking, Hmm, just how many people is that….my loved ones, their loved ones, and theirs?  So I started calculating and believe me Math is not my best subject!  I figured I would have no duplicates, so rather than nieces, nephews, etc. I would just say brother and sisters, and that would take care of their children as well.  So rather than 30-40+ people for me, and about the same for Patrick, I wanted to use a conservative figure, because there are other people out there that may just have one or two loved ones.

Therefore, I decided on a low number of just ten people.  My ten people would then each have ten people, and those one hundred people would each have ten people, which would be a thousand, and so on.  Here’s what it looks like.

Within a very short time, it covered the entire planet!  Patrick said, “Wouldn’t it be funny if you would say, I’ll put a green dot on the forehead of my ten people and they would do the same, and so on.  Then little by little you would start seeing more and more people wearing this little green dot and before long, everyone would be wearing it!”  This truly shows us how connected we really are!
