Her words, not mine! Okay, so maybe I added the menopausal, but I’m sure she is! Of course she wasn’t describing herself, but hey, if the shoe fits then wear it! Ms. Mallick is a freelance Canadian journalist for the CBC and when she used those words, she was describing Sarah Palin. She called Palin “….a toned down version of a porn actress…” and “….added nothing to the ticket that the Republicans didn’t already have sewn up, the white trash vote….”
When Greta Van Susteren said (about Mallick), “She just sounds like a pig to me.” Mallick was furious! This over fifty year old woman, who by the way says she’s 49, (Come on, Heather! Who’s going to believe that?! Or else you’re a bad looking 49 year old if you ask me!) in any case, she can dish it out, 
but she can’t take the heat!
She’s a frustrated old lady who needs to get laid, but then again, not only does she hate Sarah Palin, she hates everybody! In her column where she spews out hatred telling men, “…I know men have their secret meetings at which they pledge to do manly things, like being irresponsible with their semen and postponing household repairs with glue and used matches.” Hmm, maybe she doesn’t need to get laid!
Is she a frustrated lesbian? Well according to her, “Guys will be guys, obviously. But do they not know that women have been trained to resent other women and that they only learn to suppress this by constantly berating themselves…. I’m a feminist who understands that women can nurse terrible and delicate woman hatred.”
What’s wrong with this lady! Not only is she a man-hater, she’s also misogynic! Well actually, I think it would be safe to say she’s misanthropic! Hmm, I wonder, does she like dogs?!!!
Now if you go to Mallick’s website, she says, “For all that I write for a living, the idea of writing on my own website without an editor is strange.” Yep, who am I to argue that she definitely needs an editor! Mallick also has a blog, or her version of a blog! No, you can’t leave a comment, you just have to listen to her polemicizing! She writes, “I can’t say how often I will post here. There are times when I have nothing to say, and times when I have so much to say that it would be unwise.” Well, I guess we can deduce that she’s not wise enough to take her own advice. Once again, her words not mine!
Maya Muses: I don’t understand all this hatred being directed toward Sarah Palin and her family, especially by women and being fueled by the pro-Obama media!
One of the worst human vices is jealousy, and Heather Mallick is so jealous of Sarah Palin it’s not even funny! Could it be that it bothers her that Canadian men find Palin attractive and not her?! My advice to you, Ms. Mallick, is to go see your gynecologist and ask for HRT or something. No, even that won’t make men find you attractive, but at least you won’t be so bitchy!

That’s okay Mia, what is going on in the US with all the hatred toward a woman who has made a name for herself in politics is beyond me! You can disagree with her (I do on many issues) but the blatant name calling, not only to her, but also to her children, is beyond me! It is really ugly!
And! If you start calling names, then you shouldn’t get so offended when someone calls you the same thing as Ms. Mallick has! I mean if someone asks me, why are you calling her an old lady when you’re one yourself?! I would say, precisely! That’s why I can call her one! LOL!!!

She has stayed in the sandbox, but away from all the bullies as much as possible. The problem is the sandbox is getting filled up with them that it’s harder and harder for her to find any room to play!
She’s been very gracious and smart, she just ignores all these negative comments, which ignites even more hostility towards her.
Ulf has said in one sentence what I have been ranting about in all my posts! LOL!

I don’t understand what some people’s problem is with women and politics…..
I Have a lot of respect for women politicians and those who run their own country… Take Margaret Thatcher for example, UK’s prime Minister for 11 years… I am not saying that I agreed with any of her policies, I was too young to understand them and I know my parents didn’t have a nice thing to say about her but still think how many little girls in the 80’s decided that they wanted to become prime minister when they grew up…
But I guess it’s true about women being Jealous of other women… The Ego is a peculiar thing.

The US thinks they’re so far ahead of everyone else, but many times it’s just the opposite! There have been so many women world leaders, Margaret Thatcher is a good example, but so is Indira Gandhi, Benazir Bhutto, and Golda Meir to name a few more famous names.
There are many, many more lesser known women who have served as the head of their government as well. Agatha Barbara, Mary Robinson, Ruth Dreifuss, Megawati Sukarnoputri, Mireya Moscoso, Janet Jagan, and Violeta de Chamorro; each of these women were President of their country.
Current female presidents are: Mary McAleese (Ireland), Vaira Vike-Freibergak (Latvia), Tarja K. Halonen (Finland), Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo (Philippines), Michelle Bachelet (Chile), and Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf (Liberia).
It’s crazy how the American media is trying to make Palin into a laughing fool just because she’s running for vice-president. It just shows the narrow-minded mentality of the people.

And I agree with you Tina,I don’t understand it either….Women are powerful…
But sometimes I think some of us try to pretend to be men!?
Not that I don’t like men!I love them!lol
But men are men ,and women are women!
We need each other!And we need to learn to understand each other!

I do think we need balance in this world of ours!
And right now there is too much “male energy” that runs our world!
