Halloween is fast approaching and lets be honest, it isn’t just for kids anymore! Everyone has made this holiday into a reason to celebrate! I mean what kid doesn’t like running around dressed up in their favorite fantasy outfit getting free candy from everyone?! Still, more and more adults are having their own Halloween parties and get togethers. Teenagers, who use to think it wasn’t cool to “trick-or-treat”, are now having just as much fun getting dressed up as the young kids do.
If you’re like me, going to your local stores and trying to find a costume that actually inspires you, is hard to come by! I usually end up buying a witch’s hat at the last moment and wearing a black dress and voila! No, I don’t win any prizes for the most unusual costume, in case you’re wondering! Lol.
Anyway, as more and more of my shopping is done online, I decided to look on the web for this year’s costume and I found a site Halloween Costume Stores that has a wide variety of all sorts of great stuff and there truly is something for everyone. From children to teen outfits, to Plus Size Costumes; they have a wide selection of plus sizes for both men and women.
So if you’re looking for a Disney costume for your little one, or a hip pirate or Geisha look for your teen, or a period piece for yourself, then look no further! They even have costumes for your pets and all the accessories you’re going to need to win that Best Costume Contest!
Maya Muses: No, I won’t tell you what costume I’ll be wearing, but I may take a photo!

Lol. I thought of Timi when I saw the photo of the cat! I don’t remember….do they do a lot of celebrating for Halloween in Madrid, or London for that matter.? I know in Paris it has become more and more popular through the years.

In London they make a big deal out of it… I’ve seen pumpkins here…..
And I’ve been told in Peru too.

In Mexico they celebrate El Día de Muertos November 2 as well as in France, La Fête des Morts. November 1st in France, La Toussaint, is a holiday, but not the 2nd.
I think they all coincide though….Halloween, All Saints Day and the Day of the Dead. Same difference…lol.

Yes, it’s really neat! I did that one year when I was visiting relatives in Mexico! They eat and drink and have mariachis playing! It’s a great party right there in the cemetary, and all these other people are also there at different grave sites partying with deceased loved ones as well!
You’ll have to wish David a Happy Birthday for me!

I love that…
I seen it on TV……
Here in Sweden it is not a tradition to celebrate Halloween…”They try to get people to do it ,but so far I think the response is not that big!
You dress up Lynn?
Will looking forward to see in what?

Maybe it’s too cold to go out at night in thin little costumes. When I was little we use to stay out until 9 or 10 at night with other little kids running all over the place trick-or-treating. We could hardly carry all our candy home!
Nowadays, it too dangerous. Parents go with their children to friends and neighbors homes, or they have their own parties for the kids. Less and less people knock on strangers’ doors. It’s sad how times have changed….

Yes it is…
What kind of world is this?
Where we are afraid of each other?
But how much kindness there is in this world too!
I see this more and more!I rather trust people than the opposite!
Always have and always will…But I’m aware of both….

You’re right, there’s both….and it’s better to focus on the good, otherwise we’d all go crazy!
