Maya Muses: Just a little update! We’re still in the Southwest, 70° weather, sunny blue skies. The type of weather where you just go out with a light jacket on. My brother Bob just e-mailed us photos of the latest snowfall in Pittsburgh! Over 30 inches and you can’t even see our cars buried underneath it all! Hmm! It’s making us think twice about returning to the Northeast!!!
(Oh yeah, and another snow storm is forecast for tomorrow! Hmm! Maybe we should head down to Mexico!?!!!)

You certainly had good timing for your trip! I’m sending a link to my niece who used to live in Pittsburgh.

Are you kidding me? It’s fantastic!!!! You’re missing one of the best parts of living up here!

You are right Kerri. I can’t wait to go back to Pitts and enjoy the beauty and the peaceful feeling of the snow.

I think if I was in the middle of all that snow, I would be heading south too!

I agree, it’s great to be out in the snow!

Hi Harriet, Mother Nature doesn’t seem to want us to go back, so we have a few other stops before returning, but we’ll probably get some snow. Pittsburgh always has one final blizzard at the beginning of March. “In like a lion and out like a lamb” is probably a saying that started in Pittsburgh!

Kerri, Patrick, and Cid, I love the snow, especially when I’m by a warm fireplace, curled up with a good book and looking at the snow falling outside my window!

Deena, I think snow is great during the holidays….for Thanksgiving and of course, Christmas and New Year’s, but when we’re getting to mid February or March…..I’d rather start seeing some signs of Spring!

Lynn, you didn’t even comment on my knowledge of Pittsburgh ‘lingo’ with the ‘redding up’ expression!

Do you know I did notice that and I thought to myself,…. Funny that Harreit would use such a Pittsburghese expression! LOL!!!
