The one time I was fortunate enough to see the Cirque du Soleil, it was their show Alegría, which means joy or happiness in Spanish. A very appropriate name indeed!
If you’ve ever been to the Cirque du Soleil, then you know it’s more than just a show and nothing like you’ve ever seen! Their troups never fail to delight and amaze spectators young and old alike. At times you wonder, who are these people that seem to defy the law of gravity and do things that seem humanly impossible
for most of us to do? Yet how, we wonder, do they do it?!
It doesn’t matter, you get caught up in the ambiance and all the activity going on, on stage and we soon realize that they are some of the most talented and unique entertainers in the world; from singers, dancers, and actors, to gymnasts and circus clowns these performers take us one step beyond.
The lastest Cirque du Soleil extravaganza is Banana Shpeel which welcomes stars from the Broadway stage and also sets the scene.
Where boy meets girl, boy falls in love with girl, meets a villian, all the while there’s a myserious stranger lurking in the background. The storyline, of course, is more intricate than that! If you want to learn more, you can find all the information you need by visiting their site: http://bit.ly/Zefsq.
Maya Muses: One thing for sure, you’ll delve into a magical world full of beautiful costumes and awe inspiring feats and you’ll gladly escape to another time and place.
