After all the rumors and all the speculations that have abounded since the end of the show, I looked back at the Final Rose ceremony and have come to the conclusion that this was all a hoax. When you know that this whole thing was a setup, you realize there were no real tears of sorrow or joy during the finale, unlike in past seasons.
When Jason said goodbye to Molly, Molly didn’t really seem upset. She just took it in stride and then half way to the car, she thought, Opps I better work up some emotions here! Then when she got to the limo, she didn’t cling to him like Jillian did, she got into the car and the look she gave Jason was not one of sorrow. Instead she gave him a tiny smile that said, “See you later!”
Of course, Jason knew he had to put on a show (And talk about bad acting!) he went over the top! Working up crocodile tears on the balcony, where you can very easily see his eyes were dry! Molly, at the same time was desperately trying to work up a few tears of her own in the limo, but not a single tear fell down her face! (Hey! Makeup artists, we need fake tears here!)
Anyway, back to Jason who very quickly regained “control” of himself; he proposes to Melissa and she doesn’t seem to be jumping up for joy either! There are no real tears of happiness or emotion. She turns away from him for a few seconds, but I think it was more a turning away from the camera to try and muster up some excitement that she definitely wasn’t feeling!
All three of them showed forced emotions in the ATFR1. Melissa again trying to act the victim, but not pulling it off well, and Molly trying to pretend this was all news to her! All the while Jason is sitting there thinking, What the heck did we get ourselves into?! Then during ATFR2 Jason has a lapse and says about him and Molly, “We’re partners in crime.” Opps!
Maya Muses: Of course the producers of the show are saying that none of this was staged and everything was real, but give me a break! (They should have used real actors for this one!) Besides, do we think for one minute they’re going to actually confess and say, “Sorry folks, we thought this would make things a lot more exciting for the viewers since our ratings have been slipping. We just weren’t prepared for all the hostility toward us and Jason, so we’re letting Jason take the brunt!!! Don’t worry, he’s being paid well for it!”

I didn’t believe you in the beginning, then after watching the taped episode it become obvious that it was all a hoax. For once I liked all the participants, they were all so nice to each other…..Was that also fake? I hope not.

I think Stephanie and Jillian had real emotions, probably because they weren’t in on the whole thing.
