It’s All Maya!

The Academy Award Nominations were announced today with just a few surprises.  The biggest one being that Clint Eastwood received no nominations for his film Gran Torino.  I don’t particularly care for violent films, but I would have liked to have seen him nominated for Best Original Song.  Afterall it’s not like they had such a long list of songs this year that they just couldn’t squeeze his in!  Only three songs were nominated for Pete’s sake!  Or what about Best Original Score for Changeling?

Oh well, it just wasn’t meant to be, and sadly, Clint (who has decided that this is the last film he’ll star in) will have his wonderful acting career go out like a broken down old Gran Torino on its way to the junkyard!
