Yesterday while watching the debate like millions of others I finally realized why I’ve been on the fence for so long and why I couldn’t decide which candidate I wanted to vote for, or not vote for! It hit me that I don’t like Obama or McCain! I’m not talking politics here. I mean, I don’t like them in an intuitive sense. Neither one inspires me, neither one evokes a feeling in me to have confidence in either one of them, neither one has shown me that they are different….
The reason is - they’re not! They’re like all other politicians that say what you want to hear and then once elected, they do what they want. What they promise you and then what they give you are two different stories. There are very few men throughout history that have tried to better mankind, especially politicians. A Mahatma Gandhi is not born everyday you know, let alone every century!
Okay, but back to the Biden-Palin debate. Like with McCain-Obama there were no winners and there were no losers, as far as politics go. However, there were two winners yesterday in the fact that both Palin and Biden showed a humaine side to them and I think most people came away liking them both.
There was a very good, very pronounced chemistry between them that came through the television screen. That’s when I said, “Now there’s a ticket!” Put Biden and Palin in a bipartisan, working together, campaign and you have a winner! Joe will take Sarah
under his wings and serve as President while she learns the ropes as his VP. Then after his term, she’ll be the shoo-in as the first female President. Simple as that!
Maya Muses: Ah, Mayaland, the land of illusions! Sometimes it’s amusing to imagine things that just aren’t so! With this overdose of politics at the moment in the real world, I like escaping to Mayaland every now and again for fun and relaxation!

I join you!
And what do you mean “Real world”?
Maybe it is the other way around?
And they are only humans after all…Maybe they forget sometimes….
they have to go to the toilet like the rest of us!Lol…
I have to go eat something!
Right now I want to throw this thing out the window!
Or I have to learn how to use this media!
For now I turn it off!

Mia, you and I and many other people know that this is not the “real world” and that everything is an illusion here in our 3 dimensional (spatial) world and even the 4th dimension which is Time, which constitutes Mayaland.
However, there are a lot of other people who think this is the “real world” and so I have to balance what I write for both. (Not always easy!)
Now if we want to delve deeper into quantum physics and say that all possibilites exist, then we can assume that in another dimension or universe there does exist a Biden-Palin ticket!

sounds like this debate my brother and I use to have when we were kids…. what if this world is someone else’s dream… and when they wake up will we still exist?

This is getting deep….
And wow,Tina did you talk about these kind of things when you were kids?
I know what you mean Lynn!
I know it is not easy sometimes, because I do see the world;our so called “reality”,in a different way…I keep forgetting that others don’t!
Yeah….Gosh…Is not that the dimension you are in right now?Or at least some of you?
I remember a book Richard Bach wrote..forgotten the name, but it was about that all possibilities existed at the same time! That you experience what you focus on!
Have you read it?
When we wake up?…wow….Mayaland will be a really fun place to be living in then!Lol…
Will drink some tea!
It has been a rainy, windy night and morning!
Now the sun is shining again!

Tina, I agree with Mia….these were thoughts that I had, not so much as a child, but when I was a little older in my early teens! You were very profound, very young!

Mia, I think the book you are referring to is Illusions: Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah. I haven’t read the book, but I have heard and read exerpts about it. The only Richard Bach book that I have read, like everyone from our generation, is
Jonathan Livingston Seagull
. Great book by the way!

No,that was not the book, this book he wrote later!Don’t have it anymore, books comes and goes…Maybe it will reappear again?
I have read so many books…
I never seem to remember their titles…Have to ask Ulf if I read it or not,or look inside it!Lol…
Richard Bach’s books were/are good.I wonder what he is doing now?
Quantum physics are very interesting, don’t understand all of it,not with my mind anyway, but have an inner “knowing” where I understand it all!?
Will go out now with Ulf…The Sun is shining, the air is crisp and clear….

I hope you find the title…..I would like to read it! Could it be, Out of My Mind: A Flight into the Realm of Thought and Spirit? I love reading about quantum physics, I have a shelf of books on the subject, but like you I don’t pretend to understand it all! Lol.
