It’s All Maya!

If Life is an illusion, then why do I keep banging my head against the wall?

Si la Vie est une illusion, pourquoi je n'arrête pas de me taper la tête sur les murs?

8 Bundles of Joy Yet There’s Something Wrong With This Picture!

OctupletsDon’t get me wrong, I’m not against babies, but when you hear about a woman who already had six small children between the ages of 2 to 7 and she’s taking fertility drugs to have more kids, I don’t need to tell you, there’s definitely something wrong with this picture!  Wrong not only for her to be taking any kind of fertility treatment (it doesn’t look like she had much trouble getting pregnant on her own) and wrong for a doctor to treat her!

Bad enough she’s living with her parents in a modest 3-bedroom single-story house in Whittier, California; now they’re bringing home eight more people (Small ones yes, but they won’t be small forever!) into already crammed quarters.

Octuplets - All Girls!

The young mother’s father has told reporters that the family has enough money to take care of her 14 children, but why do I get the feeling that they may be hoping for a windfall which happens to so many families with multiple births.  All of a sudden everyone is pitching in to build them a big, beautiful, new spacious home with an enormous yard for the children to play in.  Sponsors are beating a path to their door offering hundreds of thousands of dollars for endorsing their baby product over another.  Hmm,…. could this have been a well calculated, so-called sugarplums dancing in front of the mother’s eyes, manoeuvre?  What if these endorsements don’t come?  Or the community doesn’t rally behind this mother with support in helping to take care of these children because of what seems like her irresponsibility?  Then what?

Maya Muses:  Then reality sets in and this mother realizes that she has 14 children to take care of, all seven years of age and under, and that she’s responsible for all of them!  Good-bye Mayaland!!!

I agree with you… How old is the “proud” mother?

She’s 33 years old and like I said in my post, the woman is now looking to sell her story for $2 million!!! She’s also seeking commercials in exchange for money or goods! Her family claims that she is obsessed with children (lucky for her!) and that she is mentally unstable. Hmm, I don’t see her as unstable, I see her as rather clever!

    Gosh…
Is it not “wonderful” how we create our own reality?Because this we do whether we are aware of it or not!
So in my eyes this is Mayaland indeed!
And she did it all by herself, well, almost…
I do agree with you Lynn,”someone” has to be rather clever here….
And to be obsessed with children?I do hope that means she love and care for every one of them…

Me too! I hope she’s not in love with “making babies” (all by in vitro) as opposed to caring for them. She’s a single mother with 14 children now: octuplets and 3 sets of twins!!!
